Poverty Bay Wine Festival Tickets Are Available!

It's the Gift that Keeps on Giving!

Time to put out the notice, the invitation, the arm twisting and of course, the OPPORTUNITY to buy 2011 Wine Festival Tickets to all of your friends, family, acquaintances (basically anybody that has ever sent you an email....)  All of the details of the Wine Festival can be found at DMRotary.org which also has links to our online ticket sales.

Each club member has a specially marked envelope with your name on it and ten Wine Festival tickets inside waiting for you at corky cellars.  You are expected to pick up the envelope and distribute the tickets however you see fit.  The only catch, you need to return the envelope to me with $250.00 in it.  Can't make it much simpler than that.  If you are responsible for selling online tickets you will get a credit against your $250.00 obligation.

If you can't pick up your tickets at corkys, they will be available at the first club meeting in January.

Yes, we will have a contest and there will be a prize for the winning team, we just haven't created it yet.

Concerned that you won't be able to sell ten tickets?  Here are some ideas that might get you going in the right direction.

1.         Invite everybody you know by email, facebook etc.

2.         Visit a local Rotary club to sell tickets.  We will have a sign up sheet at the first meeting in January to visit other clubs.  If your visit generates ticket sales, those are your sales.

3.         Hang a Wine Festival Tickets sold here sign on the front door of your home or business.  Dan Johnson can print you up a nice looking sign.

4.         Have your friends and family disowned you because you have pestered them into oblivion about their obligation to buy tickets? Can't help you there but good job!

I appreciate everybody's help and comittment to making this years event the best attended ever.

Sincerely,

Brian Snure
Wine Festival Co-Chair
